About
Lana learned the art of crocheting at an early age while in England. Her first fashion show was in high school when she produced a variety show and designed and made crocheted African influenced attire.
Lana was later encouraged by her husband's mom, Bishop G.M. Wilson, who was a master at crocheting incredible blankets and afghans, to pick it up again. It has now morphed into over 240 designs which includes dresses, sweaters, evening and couture fashions, baby clothes, hats, scarves, afghans, (including specialty afghans paying homage to icons) bedspreads, handbags and accessories, all one-of-a-kind.
For over 40 years Lana's desire has been to provide lux, elegant, functional, creative, fashion-forward and fun garments with an attitude for the everyday person as well as high-end couture designs. Lana, being an entertainer herself has had the opportunity to wardrobe many of her colleges including being honored to have one of her garments worn at the 2013 Emmys.
Lana has also been a featured designer at the Lancaster Museum, Lancaster, CA; Redwing Galleries, Upstate, NY; Something Old, Something New Boutique, Wrightwood, CA; Pomona County Fair, Pomona, CA; and one of 3 hand picked designers to present a collection at La Florence Galleries, Leimert Park, CA.
